Abandoned Children

We take in children who have been abandoned, neglected, or given up by their families due to crisis situations. While in our care, we provide for the children's basic needs—food, clothing, medicine, and schooling—but also love and affection for those who have previously known hunger, sickness, rejection, or abuse.

We believe every child needs a family to belong to. We work to reunite children with their biological family when possible, or place them in a permanent adoptive family. Our goal is to find loving, Christian homes for all our children.

Child Sponsorship

Sponsors provide formula, food and medicine for a specific baby or child, during their stay with us. Most of our babies are abandoned or surrendered. Our goal for each of them is placement in a loving Christian home. The waiting period can be anywhere from 1-2 years. If you would like to help sponsor a child, please fill-out the form for Child Sponsorship.

RVM will provide a photo and some brief background of one of our babies or toddlers, along with their first name & some prayer requests. We'll send out quarterly updates (via e-mail) on the child's health, growth & any prayer needs specific to them. We'll do our best to give you information, but please understand that we are bound by certain laws of confidentiality since we are licensed through the government of the Philippines.

Agape Program
Our Agape* Program is a ministry developed for abused girls and young women in crisis with nowhere to turn. Our program provides temporary shelter, medical needs, counseling and direction, but most of all, hope in a loving and gracious God. Many of the girls who come through our program have no home to return to.

We help them get an education or skills training, and from there to find a means of supporting themselves, and a safe community to belong to. Currently, our Agape Program is in a final stage of assisting these young women through school, nurture and encouragement with independent living, and finding employment.

[* the name Agape comes from a Greek word for unconditional love]

School Sponsorship Program
This program allows the girls in the Agape Program to attend a private Christian school with an individualized learning system. This system is ideal for young women who may be in their teens but have never been to school. Other children who once lived at Rainbow but were reunited with their families also benefit from this program. They are given an education and rice subsidy for their family.

This program is made possible through the support of individual sponsors from around the world. If you would like to assist with school sponsorship, please fill-out the from for School Sponsorship. You may also contact the office for more information.
